Hello Ward 25 residents. A few homes have asked me about the City's plan in case of a Nuclear explosion or leak from the Pickering Nuclear Plant. Please find some preliminary information here. Considering if there is a blast out power is likely to be down and unable to contact or be contacted, some of these resources offer little solace. I am continuing the hunt for information and I will post it here as I find or am provided it. Potassium iodide (KI) tablets are available to anyone living within 50km of the Pickering and Darlington nuclear plants.
