Plant for species at risk. Be a Wildlifer

9/14/2018

The Rouge River watershed is home to hundreds of species, including at-risk wildlife such as the bobolink, Blanding's turtle, eastern meadowlark, milk snake and monarch butterfly. Our partner, Friends of the Rouge Watershed, needs your help to ensure this critical habitat is healthy.

Join with other Wildlifers in the GTA who are taking action to reverse the decline of wildlife by planting native trees, shrubs and wildflowers at two events this fall.

 Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Old Tyrell Landfill, Scarborough

REGISTER NOW
Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join us after the planting for refreshments, a discussion about conservation in the Rouge, and an optional nature walk to see firsthand how your efforts will give back to this national park for generations to come.
