Born and raised in Scarborough Southwest, I am a graduate of  Centennial College with a diploma in Corporate Communications.

I have worked in the non-profit sector for 20 years, managing education, training and economic development programs for youth in Neighbourhood Improvement Areas of Toronto. Prior to that I worked in the Canadian Arts industry in Music, Broadcasting and Publishing.

I am an alumni of Equal Voice Votes to Victory and Women Win TO.
